The Gateway Trunk Profiles form is used to create Gateway Trunk Profiles for the EX Controller. This form helps create logical grouping of the gateway trunks. You must create a profile before EX Controller trunks can be used. When the EX Controller is added to the MiVoice Business system using the Enterprise Gateways form, a trunk profile is created for each type of trunk on the EX Controller.
NOTE: This form is applicable only to the EX Controller.
Use this form when performing the following tasks:
If there are ONS cards in the system, a maximum of four SIP Peer gateway trunk profiles can be created. Otherwise, a maximum of five trunk profiles can be created using the Gateway Trunk Profiles form.
The Gateway Trunk Profile records are related to the SIP Peer network element records of the Network Elements form. But the changes made to SIP Peer Port in the Network Elements form will not update the associated Gateway Trunk Profile.
